2025/2026 Steelhead 2015 & 2016 Birth Year Hockey (Pre/Post)

The Chagrin River Steelhead Program is a unique hockey program run purely for the benefit of the youth hockey community. There are no team dues, fees or expenses to any family involved. The costs for all ice time, tournaments and games are split evenly amongst the participants families. The coaches are talented and all played high-level hockey, but our coaches are volunteers. It takes the business out of youth sports and puts kids enjoyment and development as the primary focus.

Unlike travel programs which can run $5000-$20,000 annually after factoring in tournaments, equipment and travel, the Steelhead program is designed to operate with zero organizational expenses. This allows us to split the ice-time costs evenly amongst the families involved and maximize the your spend, in what is already an outrageously expensive youth team sport. Even our uniforms are purchased at-cost through our own wholesale corporate account and split evenly amongst the families.
